Aurus PhoneUP 3.11 - the new version is integrated with Aurus Outbound to automate the employees notifications

The "Paging" module has undergone the most significant change in the new version of Aurus PhoneUP. Firstly, we implemented a number of new features:

  • one universal template allows you to create text, voice and hybrid notifications;


  • the pre-configured message may be sent from any Cisco IP phone after entering a PIN code;

  • the feature of the receipt confirmation is added - PIN code for IP phones or DTMF for mobile phones;


  • the most important notifications may even require the voice confirmation of every employee that is recorded and stored.




Secondly, the "Paging" module is integrated with Aurus Outbound for dialing to mobile phones and sending SMS messages.

Now the process of employees' notification may look as follows:

  • the notification starts with sending the message to the Cisco IP phones of the selected group of employees;


  • the system waits for each employee to confirm the receipt using the IP phone interface;


  • the list of employees who have not confirmed the notification receipt is transferred to Aurus Outbound that dials their mobile phones and plays the message;


  • employees should confirm the receipt by voice or entering DTMF code;


  • the consolidated delivery report is sent to originator by e-mail.



Thus, the system uses all available communication channels to reach employees.

In addition to the "Paging" module, the messaging feature is added to the "Console" application which now allows sending SMS, e-mails and text messages to Cisco IP phones.
