PhoneUP 3.8 extends Cisco Jabber directory and automates Extension Mobility authentication

Meet the new PhoneUP 3.8 – Aurus flagship product for Cisco Unified Communications Manager.

The new version contains the major improvement to the Directory module – integration with Cisco Jabber. Now your Cisco Jabber phonebook can be formed from multiple enterprise systems and databases, and thus contain not only the employee contacts from Active Directory, but any other external contacts.

For example, when integrated with CRM, Cisco Jabber provides the detailed information of the client who’s calling you. You’ll also be able to find any client using Jabber search bar.

This new feature will also be useful in heterogeneous communication networks. The "Directory" module enables to bring together all contacts of the remote departments and affiliated companies, regardless of the PBX they use.

PhoneUP 3.8 also includes a new module "Extension Mobility SSO" which allows you to get authorized on IP phone with Extension Mobility without entering your PIN. Just log in to your PC and your extension mobility profile will be automatically loaded on the IP phone.
