Aurus U-Meet Extends the Cisco TelePresence Video Conferencing Platform

In April 2016, Aurus introduced the updated tool for Cisco TelePresence meeting scheduling and control. The main purpose of Aurus U-Meet software remains the same: to provide employees with an easy to use interface for videoconference scheduling and control.

The main changes in Aurus U-Meet 3.1 have been made at the request of clients already using the product. The scheduling interface was extended with conference time and room selection with consideration of the attendees, rooms and MCU resources availability. Besides that, the booking workflow support with the users’ conferences approval functionality was added. Other new functions are MCU resources availability management for different groups of users, and the reporting module for conducted conferences.

The next major version of the product will support the new Cisco TelePresence architecture (Conductor and TelePresence Servers).
