PhoneUP 5.5 with Voice Transcription module

Today we're announcing the new release of PhoneUP, our flagship product for enterprise call recording and contact center WFO.

The major update of PhoneUP 5.5 release is the new "Voice transcription" module which can be integrated with a 3rd party ASR engine to transcribe recorded calls.

Once the recordings are transcribed, PhoneUP provides:

  1. full-text search - to find the required recordings

  2. text transcription within interaction player - to quickly scan a text rather than listening to the call

Spoiler Alert!

Speech to text functionality is just the first step of our AI strategy for 2025.

What's coming next is huge - the existing Quality Management module will be updated with LLM-powered AQM (automated quality management) and speech analytics features.

But let's get back to PhoneUP 5.5.

Other improvements are not that significant but are worth mentioning:

INTERACTION EXPLORER

  • The Filter Pane is improved to allow save filters for further use

  • Full-text search query is included in the Filter Pane

SCREEN RECORDING

  • Improved player with screen recording download available

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

  • Review scheduler improvements                                                      

  • QM reports improvements
